PINTEREST. The ultimate guide to getting off track, sucked into a time warp, and discovering that there is a place where ideas are endless.
It all began with a click of a button where I stumbled upon a TedTalk video on a 30-day challenge. What sparked my interest was how simple it was. You set a 30-day goal to achieve. It was not anything other than something that you want to do, but needed that extra motivation or push to do it.
If you google “30-day challenge” you literally come across a mountain of challenges. For example, I did it and here are a few: Drawing, abs, plank, squat, organization, paleo, slim, move, healthy breakfast, burpees, running, and even hand lettering.
There are so many resources that can help us when we need it, but how about those times we just want to be able to do something on our own, work for it, and achieve it?
It was mentioned in the video, that small goals= sustainable goals. It does not have to be some over the top, reach for the stars and never stop trying goal. You want something you can achieve and know that you worked to get it. That does not mean that large goals should not be set, but the point is finding that time to embrace the day on work on small things you want to achieve too. If we only look at the big picture, we miss out on the small moments that slide right by. I love how he mentions that when he started doing the 30-day challenges, he realized how much the time that passed by he remembered. I want to embrace the days and have them packed with meaning. Not time that has been thrown away to pointless worth.
Is there something you want to do, but just need that extra push to do it? Here is that chance. Join me on a 30-day challenge to set forth in taking each day and enjoying it. Finding beauty in the moment and making a difference. YOU can do it.

Aloe Blooms will be hosting our very first launch party. It will be held in Grand Prairie at Our Urban Hippie on June 17th from 11-2 pm. This will be a come and go event, and you will not have to be present to win the prizes. We will have items on sale, food, drinks and PRIZES! Please save the date and make some time to come out and visit.
The launch party is being held is 11 days before what would have been Lauren's 28th birthday on June 28. Because of this, we will be taking special donations to create a scholarship in Lauren's name to Tate Springs Christian School. 100 % of these donations will go towards the scholarship.
As we have continued to grow, our product line has grown as well. With more items offered to give back and provide sustainable income to families in need, we are excited to share this new adventure with you.
This is such a neat opportunity to partner beside another new and upcoming business with Our Urban Hippie and provide a one of a kind shopping experience.
We will have prizes from special discounts, free items, and even a membership to the YMCA. We are so excited and can't wait to see you.
You can RSVP online today on our facebook page, www.facebook.com/aloebloomspage
Sometimes all it takes is a leap of faith that God will provide. We are so excited to be adding these beautiful bible journals to our collection, made by Hosanna Revival. They are seriously some of the most creative and detailed bibles I have ever seen! We have been praying and discussing how we wanted to begin to carry journaling bibles and it just so happens, that God sought that prayer and led us straight here.
We are taking pre-orders for these bibles to begin shipping out in May when we receive them. We have 5 to choose from, and a limited quality. So reserve yours today.
Wow! Talk about the first three months of 2017 FLYING by! We have been so busy with ALOE BLOOMS that we have lumped it all together to highlight some of the rad things that have been happening over the course of the past few months.
January started off with planning. Lots of planning. Getting organized, laying out our Spring thoughts for Aloe Blooms and getting organized. Much behind the scenes work, but expect some GREATER THINGS to come with Aloe Blooms throughout this year.
February held some of the bible journal workshops which turned out to be a great success, as we got to host our very first workshop at a church and Sparks Studio Art in Downtown Arlington. This month had some excitement as we officially got the opportunity to host workshops in an Art Facility. Big steps for a small team!
We also added a few awesome bible journaling products with partnering alongside Illustrated Faith and Prima. If we are going to sell products, we want to sell the best and they provide it! These sweet ink pads provide so much versatility as they work as a stamp ink pad and a watercolor pallet! Don't believe me? See for yourself....
March was the busiest! We were accepted to The Boho Market at Dallas Farmers Market and it was a raving success! By far, the best event we have EVER done. So neat to see how God opens doors and through seeking him we were led here!
The ETSY shop is officially open! I will continue to add and update the site as time allows, but it was nice to get the jump start and leap onto the Etsy world. Click on the icon and check out the page!
It is always exciting to add new things to the shop and be prepared that April is going to be FILLED with new items! Ready to check them out? Check out The Market
Until next time!

We are officially WAY overdue for a blog post, but the good news is that we have so much to catch up on that we can post about it all here!
1. Aloe Blooms officially has a studio it can work out of here in Arlington TX. We will be able to host workshops and more at Sparks Art Studio off Main St. We are so excited to be able to offer these classes and more information will be coming soon.
2. We are working on getting the store up and running and stocked with all our items. We now have different lines that we are selling including the Aloe Originals, the Gifts with a Cause line, Illustrated faith and bible journaling items, and finally bath and body with handmade bath bomb and bath teas. Sounds like a hodge podge of items but we are so excited to have a variety to offer!
3. Part of our line with Gifts with a Cause allows for such a fun and unique opportunity that along with helping empower others through this fair trade market, we also get to be official sellers of the elephant art to help benefit the elephants who painted the art! How cool is that?
Not sure what elephant art is? Check it out here:
We can't wait to share this next adventure with you!
